THE EXPERIENCE
Pistis is a beautiful beach of very light sand. It is quite long and stretches for almost 2 km. Its characteristic are the high sand dunes that precede the sand shore, on which the Mediterranean scrub and some juniper trees grow. These sand hills, even higher than thirty meters, originate from the strength of the mistral wind that has pushed the sand accumulated by the sea on the coast inland. On the sunniest days, the sea acquires an emerald green colour.
Riding the fine yellow sand, the dunes shaped by the wind, among the twisted trees withered by drought, you will feel like you are in a “little Sardinian Sahara”.
Approximately 3 hours, with variations, due especially to the level of experience of the participants.
Medium, a minimum level of experience is required.
